This is the first class in a series of four classes for Diabetes Self-Management Education, DSME.

Dates are: March 30, April 6, April 13 and May 11, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

DSME explains:

  • Treatment options.
  • What you can eat.
  • What you need to know about carbohydrates.
  • How to make sense of your glucose numbers.
  • How to lose weight and be active.

Research indicates that Diabetes Self-Management Education provided by a licensed healthcare professional and coordinated by a Certified Diabetes Educator will help you control blood glucose within target ranges, reduce your A1C, and decrease potential complications from diabetes.  Our program is accredited through The American Association of Diabetes Educators’  (AADE) Diabetes Education Accreditation Program (DEAP).
