Panama City, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health in Bay County (DOH-Bay) invites the public to an Open House on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, for the community to learn more about the services offered. The event will take place from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., at:

“We are excited for the public to have this opportunity to meet and re-connect with our health department,” said Sandon S. Speedling, MHS, CPM, CPH, Florida Department of Health in Bay County, Administrator and Health Officer. “I encourage and welcome all to visit us and learn about the many services our health department has to offer.”

DOH-Bay division representatives will be available to showcase the services offered and to answer specific questions about them. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in screenings for blood pressure, diabetes and cholesterol. Tours of the DOH-Bay Mobile Dental Bus and the Farmers Market vendors will also be offered. Food trucks will be available for everyone to enjoy lunch during the event. At the end of the event, those attending will be invited to join the staff on a walk at nearby Bay Memorial Walking Park.
