The Florida Department of Health in Bay County (DOH-Bay) is informing residents of a second confirmed human case of locally acquired West Nile virus. DOH-Bay, Beach Mosquito Control District, and Bay County Mosquito Control are coordinating surveillance and prevention efforts.

To protect yourself from mosquitoes, you should remember to "Drain and Cover."
